My muddled, addled brain often needs to have some cleaning out. The best way is to put it into words and save it to a computer so that it can file things for me that are not really necessary and possibly detrimental to my health by leaving inside to fester. So that is what this blog is for. It is my therapy to help release myself from my worries and and frets. To unravel the chaos and revel in creating thought out of words that are otherwise irrelevant. You are more than welcome to unmuddle your mind along with me.

New book by Shannon Hale

I feel like half of what I have put on this Blog has had something to do with Shannon Hale. Maybe I should get paid for helping to give her some plugs. Hahaha! Her newest book Palace of Stone a sequel to Princess Academy is coming out in August this year. I am so excited to read this book. She has four ARC's of it in hand that she is doing a giveaway for on her blog. Here is the link: http://oinks.squeetus.com/2012/03/i-have-something-to-show-you.html
I guess I really need to learn how to do the click "here" thing instead of making people copy and paste. I'll put that on my to do list.
So if you want a chance to win one of the four copies go to her page and comment. She's only allowing one entry. Happy commenting.

  1. I'm surprised it didn't do it for you. But if you type "click here" (or whatever you want) and highlight it there is a button above your post that says Link (it has a blue underline, like a hyperlink). Click that and put the URL (where you want the link to go) in the box that pops up.

I hope that makes sense! I haven't read any of Shannon's stuff, but she is on my reading list. I've heard nothing but good things about her books.

    1. I will try to interpret what you said accurately. I will have to try it out. My husband knows how to do it. He's just at work right now. He is a programmer.

I just love the way Shannon Hale writes. That's all there is to it.

  2. She's amazing! I was bummed that I didn't win, but over 1,000 people entered!

I'm so sorry that you didn't get my e-mail. I swear I sent it. I wasn't able to get the post up until today, but I sent the e-mail right after the contest ended: Monday the 2nd at 12:40am. I just tried forwarding it to you again. I may have gotten sent to your spam, perchance? It wasn't a long e-mail, so the internets might have thought it was a spam-bot.

Again, so sorry! I'll be sending good vibes to you in future contests and I'll pay close attention to making sure you get those e-mails!

    1. I was bummed about not winning her book too. But I know how popular her books are and that the chances were slim.

It's okay. I found it in my spam box just now. I understand the rules of contests. I am sad that I finally won something and I had the misfortune of not receiving the email with the good news. Thanks for trying again. Hopefully next time.
